AFC Portchester Code of Conduct· The aim of the club is to provide coaching and “match” football to as many boys and girls as possible. · Coaches will place the well being and safety of each player above all other considerations, including the development of performance · Children must attend training sessions to be available for team selection (unless manager is informed as to the reason for absence) · Children must attend training sessions and matches with shin pads, correct footwear, clothing to suit the weather and refreshments. · The club is not responsible for your child (ren) outside of match and training times. (Training times 9.30 – 1100 Saturday’s(Mini Soccer only), Match days and other training sessions as arrange by coaches). · Players and SUPPORTERS must behave in a way that will enhance the clubs reputation. Any bad behaviour will result in disciplinary action being taken. · There will be no swearing or bad language from players or supporters. · All players, officials and supporters must respect all match officials AT ALL TIMES · If a player is unavailable for selection he must inform the manager as soon as possible and not just fail to show up for a game. · The manager and ultimately the club are responsible for the behaviour of players and supporters DURING TRAINING AND MATCH DAYS. · Published league and FA rules apply at all times. Team officials will apply the Disciplinary Code when a player demonstrates inappropriate behaviour.
