Current Work at Wicor May 2010
Parents/ players/ friends / supporters and all interested parties.
The Wicor project phase 1 has been concluded in conjunction with step 5&6 of the football league and Wessex league. The company which concluded the work was HHH construction of Havant.
Phase 1.1 Included Perimeter fence with three openings a) maintenance & emergency services, b) match day entrance and c) overflow gate. 1.2 Hard stand around perimeter of football pitch
1.3 Railings erected around perimeter of football pitch
1.4 Two dug outs with seating and front protection covers
1.5 Wheel chair access from changing rooms to perimeter hard stand.
1.6 Soil and planting of trees around external fence.
1.7 Removal of waste from site.
I would like to thank all the people for the continuing support and help for reaching this stage so far, but we still require your full support for the future. Phase 2 is under way behind the scene which includes:
2.1 Floodlight funding and estimates in process (Installed Jan 2009)
2.2 Football foundation grant for step 5 & 6 for floodlights (In process) planning application approved - (Installed Jan 2009)
2.3 Power supply for floodlighting (estimation stage) - (Installed Jan 2009)
2.3 Turnstiles (purchased from Norwich football club) (Installed).
2.4 Planning permission for hoarding around football pitch.
2.5 Advertising sponsorship for hoardings to be sought for season 2009/2010. 2.6 Funding, Planning and estimates for a 100 seater stand in process (Funding application in process Jan 2010) Planning approved Jan 2010, Estimates now in waiting on funding approval - Work on foundation to being Feb 2010. 2.7 Planning Application regarding building of a Club House for both club and community use - planning application approved Jan 2010 - Building sourced work to start end Feb 2010
