AFC Portchester Sixes Tournament 14th to 15th July 2012
Following the great success of our tournament last year AFC Portchester are holding their annual ‘Sixes’ Tournament at Wicor Recreation Ground on Saturday 14th July 2012and Sunday 15th July 2012.
Your team(s) are kindly invited to participate in this tournament which caters for the under 7 to 14 Boys age groups and Under 11, 13 & 15 Girls age groups as below.
Please Note: Age groups are per the 2012/2013 Season age group from the 1st September 2012
Saturday 14th July 2012:
This day will be devoted to boys under8, 10 & 12 agegroups AM and boys under 7, 11 & 13 and Girls under 11 age groups PM
Sunday 15th July 2012:
Sunday AM will be devoted to boys under9, & 14age groups and Girls under 13 & Under 15
We intend to run separate leagues for each age group with an eventual winner from each league.
Please Note: - All competitors in the U7 & U8 age group will receive a memento of the day.
The competition on both days will be ‘six-a-side’ with squad sizes limited to ten players, so that as many of your usual players can be included in the event.
Demand is expected to be high for both days and although reserve teams for each age group will be considered it is advised that teams apply well in advance of the application closing date of 1st June 2012 to avoid disappointment.
